Our client noyah wanted packaging that didn’t stop at looking pretty—it needed to stand out without sticking out. Instead of letting their lipstick boxes sit quietly on the shelf, we reimagined them as launchpads for rich digital content, meeting shoppers at the moment they pick up the product, and yet again when they unbox it at home. A single scan unlocks useful guidance and easy-to-follow actions that make each product feel personal before it even touches their lips.

    The Challenge

    Even for a beloved clean beauty brand like noyah, packaging had limits. Shade decisions were still based on tiny swatches and static print, and there was only so much information they could fit on a box. Shoppers hesitated at the shelf and during unboxing, wondering: Will this shade actually work for me? What’s really inside? noyah needed a way for their packaging to build more trust rather than questions.

    The Solution

    Virtual Fudge gave their static packaging a tech glow-up. We built an AR experience triggered directly from the box, where shoppers scan the packaging to instantly try on shades, swipe between looks, and dive into ingredient stories and usage tips. Think of it as a beauty counter hidden inside every lipstick box—always available, whether the customer is in-store, or at home.
