Any additional data used by the AR features (like the Virtual Try On) stays on your device. We don't collect or share it. For example, the noyah AR app uses a selfie AR feature using ARKit & ARCore true depth technology to recognize users face data so users can try cosmetics on their face in real time, then capture a selfie to share or save for later.

Noyah is a brand of natural personal care items that was looking for a way to involve cutting edge technology with what admittingly is an old-school business: it`s thought lipstick was used by ancient Sumerians 5,000 years ago! They insisted on having an app that is actually useful to the user, so it becomes more than just a party trick.

Solution

We created a multi-functional markerless and marker-based app to serve various possible user experiences, including both primary and secondary-packaging triggered augmented reality experiences. These culminate in a free-standing portal users can explore, which include noyah product displays. Users can get more information about the products, share with friends, try on lipsticks, and make purchases. Conversion (via purchases) and social sharing are emphasized, and the app is gamified to increase session use and viralness.
